Nenagh Kickboxing Club

KICKBOXING: is a unique sport which appeals to Men, Women, Boys & Girls from 6+.

The sport is a mixed martial art of Karate and Boxing.

BENEFITS of kickboxing are: Fitness, Strength, Flexibility, Confidence, and Weight Loss. You could lose up to 500 Calories in a 1 hr kickboxing class.!!!

Nenagh kickboxing club has been active in the Nenagh Community for over 20 years. Nenagh Kickboxing club are a recognized club with the Irish Kickboxing Federation (IKF).

We hold Annual Grading Exams twice a year. We teach light and full contact in class and all our instructors are highly trained and garda vetted. We organize our own light contact club championships once a year which everybody looks forward to student and teachers alike, great day out for all the family.

Our beginners classes will teach you all the basic techniques, footwork, punching, kicking, and pad work over the coming weeks. If a student doesn’t want to compete in a tournament or fight in the ring, no pressure will be places on them.

Sparring or fighting is optional. If a students does which to compete, they must attend training on a regular basic and all sparring sessions.

In our classes we also incorporate, Circuit Training (Abs ,Core, Cardio, Toning) * * Heavy Bag * Pad Workout * Flexibility Training * Weight Loss * Thump Boxing ( Type of boxercise training, you will sweet in this class) !!!! * Self Defence ( Practical Techniques) Nenagh Kickboxing is run by Aidan Whelan 3rd Dan Black Belt Kickboxing ‘The Ultimate in Self Defence’.
